Founded by Mary Novak in 1982 and stewarded by second generation sisters, Beth Novak Milliken and Lindy Novak, Spottswoode Estate Vineyard & Winery has been a Napa Valley pioneer in organic and biodynamic winegrowing and has always honored its site by crafting beautiful, balanced and age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon that captures the character of the vintage and the complexity of Spottswoode's legendary Estate Vineyard in St. Helena. Through its deep commitment to its land, historic buildings, employees and community, as evidenced by its recent B Corp certification, Spottswoode has earned recognition as one of the world's most respected winegrowing estates, and its renowned Estate Cabernet has earned a reputation as a wine that is a true expression of its time and place.

Our 2019 Spottswoode Estate Vine Trail Cabernet Sauvignon is a specially crafted expression of our state vineyard. Organically farmed since 1985, this unique site produces Cabernet Sauvignon with energy, balance, and beauty - every year telling the story of the vintage and expressing a sense of something that is distinctly Spottswoode.

"Bike Path Blend" exudes a dynamic combination of bright red raspberry, black cherry, and fresh blackberry along with cocoa powder, violets, and graphite. Juicy and tense on the palate with classic, fine tannins, lively energy, its finish is full of purity and precision.
