The Vine Trail: A Vital Path
The Vine Trail has become a vital part of our life here in our communities from Vallejo to Calistoga. The Vine Trail connects us to school, work, errands, and recreation. In 2025, more 700,000 people accessed this free trail getting cars off the road and encouraging people to slow down and enjoy our beautiful valley.
Critical Moment: Getting ‘Shovel Ready’
But we’re not done! There are 14 miles to build, and 33 miles are now being maintained. We are in a critical moment for the 11 miles from Yountville to St. Helena. We are just under $500,000 away from meeting a generous matching grant from the Clif Family Foundation. These funds will help us get ‘shovel ready’ and unlock federal and state grants for projects just like this helping us connect two major sections of the Vine Trail.
