From the Napa River wetlands to Calistoga’s hot springs.
When completed, the Napa Valley Vine Trail will stretch 47 miles from the Vallejo Ferry Terminal to the Calistoga Depot, winding through both Solano and Napa County. Today, 33 miles are completed in three sections connecting the community to work, school, errands, and recreation.



Three Completed Sections
There are three completed sections of the Vine Trail: Vallejo to American Canyon, City of Napa to the Town of Yountville, and St. Helena to Calistoga. Each section encourages user to slow down and enjoy our communities at terroir level.
Vallejo to American Canyon
The Vine Trail starts at the Ferry Terminal in Vallejo, welcoming locals and visitors coming from across the Bay.
Napa to Yountville
Travel through Kennedy Park, visit downtown Napa shops, and see the Rail Arts District before passing through Oak Knoll and the charming Town of Yountville.
St. Helena to Calistoga
Passing through vineyards and Bothe-Napa State Park, the northern-most section of the trail terminates in the beautiful City of Calistoga.
Two Sections Under Construction
There are just 14 miles left to build to connect the original vision of a 47-mile, Class 1 trail. The Vista Carneros/ Yountville to St. Helena.
Vista Carneros
This South Napa section of the Vine Trail will connect the Vallejo-American Canyon section to the Napa-Yountville section.
Yountville to St. Helena
Currently in the pre-engineering phase, this section will connect the Napa-Yountville section to the St. Helena-Calistoga section.
