THE VINTNER COLLECTION
One extraordinary partnership, 10 once-in-a-lifetime wines.
Ten prestigious Napa wineries have joined together to create the first cross-winery collection in Napa Valley’s history. We formed this partnership to help raise the final donations needed to complete all ten sections of the 47-mile Napa Valley Vine Trail. We are asking you to join us by adding this collection to your cellar.
Just 800 of these rare collections were produced. Each of these remarkable wineries crafted three barrels of rare and unique custom cabernet sauvignon. Each is presented in an artful Vine Trail bottle that, when featured together, form the entire vision of the 47-mile trail in 10-sections and this iconic Vine Trail Vintner Collection.
Your donation to the Napa Valley Vine Trail supports the full mission to construct the remaining miles and adds a rare wine collection to your cellar. The 800 donors through the Napa Valley Vine Trail Collection will raise over $3 million dollars to complete the Vine Trail through the Oakville and Rutherford corridor. Already hugely popular on its open sections, the completed Vine Trail will give you the chance to walk, run, bike and most of all, experience the entire length of the Valley Napa at a slower pace, at terroir level. With your support, you will enjoy the best of Napa Valley Cabernet when the Yountville to Saint Helena projected is finished.
10 rare wines. 47 miles. A hand in Napa Valley’s future.
Begun in 2008, the Napa Valley Vine Trail is a dedicated walking and cycling trail that will run the length of the valley. The 47-mile Vine Trail will meander pass more than 80 wineries and vineyards as it winds north from the Vallejo Ferry Terminal, through American Canyon, the Rail Arts District in Napa, and northward along the vineyards of Oak Knoll, Yountville, Oakville, Rutherford, Saint Helena and Calistoga.
This project is a true partnership. Thirty Napa Valley organizations representing landowner, commercial, environmental, health, education, civic groups and winery interests are participating with the single goal of bringing this generational project to completion. The Vintner Collection wine, bottles, corks, caps, labels, wine storage and ground shipping are all donated.
Your contribution matched, three times over.
Your dollars are not alone. Every dollar contributed is used to leverage nearly three dollars in federal, state and local grants.
The first two bottles of the Collection were released in 2020, five more were added at the end of 2021, with the last 3 bottles released in 2023 and 2024. Today, with your donation, you receive all 10 bottles. An ideal gift to the wine lover in your life, wines ship seasonally in the spring and fall. The collection includes:

2021 Silver Oak
The Vintage
The 2021 vintage unfolded as a tale of subtlety and finesse, following in the footsteps of its predecessor with a dry winter preamble. As the season gracefully progressed, the weather remained steadfast, nurturing an environment conducive to harmonious growth and maturation. A gentle embrace of warmth in the waning days of summer furthered the journey towards ripeness and depth.
Tasting Notes
Ultra-classic notes of cassis and blackberry are the wine’s calling cards, rendered with the opulent, pulpy ripeness characteristic of Napa and burnished by heady suggestions of tobacco and spice. These warm flavors are woven into a fine, intricate structure with palpable density. Tannins are beefy, but fine-grained, sweet in their chewiness. Polished and buffed to be drinkable upon the release, the wine’s concentration and brawny structure give it the musculature to age for decades.
